Jim was born and raised in Zeeland. He moved to the Randstad and the United States for his studies and eventually settled in The Hague. As an entrepreneur and business consultant in the field of strategy, commercial processes and activation, he works for various organisations. Because of his strong ties to Zeeland, he is also chairman of the De Zeeuws Connectie foundation, a large network of Zeelanders who are committed to various initiatives for Zeelanders and the Zeeland region.
