Four Freedoms Meet-up

The Roosevelt Foundation, together with the Freedom Colleges Foundation, has been organizing the Four Freedoms Awards Meet-up since 2020. The Freedom Colleges in the Netherlands pay attention to the Four Freedoms throughout the year, but the Meet-up is a special moment. Young people can attend the interviews with the laureates. Or maybe even ask them their question. Entrance is free.

The aim of the Meet-up is to encourage young people to think about what the Four Freedoms and the Roosevelt's ideas mean to them. On Thursday 16 April 2026, more than four hundred young people will gather at the Nieuwe Kerk in Middelburg to talk about freedom with Four Freedoms Award laureates from around the world.
